Jorlen "JJ" Moreno is a robotics engineering student passionate about embedded systems and using STEAM as a tool for social impact. She is an active mentor of multiple FIRST teams, including an FTC Moroccan Team, supporting both technical development and outreach initiatives. She founded EmpoderaSTEM, a social initiative focused on making STEM education accessible to underserved communities, with a strong emphasis on empowering girls and young women to pursue science and technology. Through this work, she designs and leads educational programs that bridge gaps in access and representation.
